The videoblog continues. The Ray Santiago Orchestra played at a Loisada community garden last month. This footage was taken with a PureDigital FlipVideo. The camera is not so good in the dark but the sound is ok. It was edited on iMovie4 running on a 2003 Powermac.

Anyhow I suppose if you're hip to memes you wouldn't want Mccain in office anyway, unless you want to stay the course, right?

This is some 50's exercise thing I put together for AE class. Playing around with Adobe AE, PS & iMovie 4. I haven't worked in the camera that can be positioned and the typography yet. This is a digital compositing exercise. Today America has to go overseas for its oil and there's more nuclear warheads on the entire planet.

Playing around with Adobe AE, PS & iMovie 4. I haven't tied in the neon dragon movement to audio attributes in AE yet. The 15 song clip is CVB's "We Workers Do Not Understand Modern Art". The other sound effects are from school. This is a digital compositing exercise.

April 25-26, 2008 ROFLCon Cambridge, MA. I had serious sound problems but I managed to save a few minutes of the interviews. I figured I'd use fog to allude to a previous Anonymous web video featuring clouds. Most Scientologists annoy me and I was excited to interview Anonymous members. I didn't get the sound settings right.

The museum patio was closed & no photography was allowed inside. Anyway it was quiet & nice to be in Staten Island. I have an accompanying photo album of this day.
Montage of baking gorp cookies, wearing fake facial hair, Pres. Bush dancing in Africa, Billy Idol going techno, & white cat in "Fists in Pocket". If you had time for this, it's much better to go to the current Move On campaigns page.

Winter Soldier was a panel from March 13-16, 2008 in Silver Springs, Maryland. Most of the mainstream corporate media have ignored the panel of Iraq War veterans testifying their accounts.
Most of the mainstream media is responsible to their shareholders to make money from their sponsors. Who would you, as a consumer, believe in? The generals, politicians, and veterans on the ground or what mainstream media is saying? It is much wiser to improve your knowledge by broadening your sources of information.
Since mainstream media has not covered these Winter Soldier testimonials, they are actively limiting their service on our public airwaves. We the people entrust our government to license to these broadcast companies for something that belongs to the people. Corporations like mainstream media have neglected the public good by not giving balanced coverage.
Please take a moment and watch these testimonials from Iraq Veterans.

I was sponsoring 2 kids through Save the Children USA for about 2 years. The charity has gone through its program and it has now deemed its mission complete at the particular village my sponsored children belong. Having completed its program on dealing with sustainable issues: health, hygiene, and early childhood education they are moving on. At this point I was given the choice to continue funding the charity for 2 more kids or stop. I think the tough part is going to be writing the last letters to the kids and saying goodbye. I think though it won't be tough to remind them to take care of their health, do their homework, help around the house & listen to their parents & teachers. If you would like to check out Save the Children USA, they are on the web and also at CharityNavigator.org
I'm working on part time work /school personal web presence at franciscodaum.com. I narrowed the visual arts to 3 catagories: Photography, Illustration, & Video. I'll probably make an audio photo show for each of the catagories. The blawg part may somehow be linked but for now the focus will for academic and part time work purposes.
The links are not all live yet.
Still a firefighter in NYC despite this: link.
I have not filed formal City of New York, NY State and Federal complaints. The deadline for NY State is coming up in May. NY State has a 1 year limit on EEO incidents. FYI: For sexual harassments, the NY State limit is 6 months.
For up to the minute updates, I'm on Twitter.com, cisc1970.

I love how the official from the Moscow Psychiatric Institute describes violent hooligans. But I guess if you're a Scientologist you won't think it's an abnormal form of self expression, you would immediately know it's evil Xenu, filling up those strapping young lads with nasty violent body Thetans that need to be squeezed out by assessments and E-metering.
"My labor union extorts money from me. I pay $5 a month. It's not much really when you figure in health benefits, arbitration, and periodical contract negotiations for 8,000 paying members. What irks me though are perks given to the representatives. Personally I go to college outside the job description of my trade. But for a second time in a year, representatives will mess around with your personal life, in my case school, just because they can. High ranking supervisors get sent to school for free in distinguished institutions. But if you're a lower echelon minority, basically, you get held back. As a matter of fact, I don't ever get to work all aspects of what the company trained me for. I'm stuck with the same thing each shift. I am assigned to be atrophied. It's the truth. I'm trying to improve myself out of my own pocket, going to college on my own time. I get my own representatives harassing me off duty. I work shifts anytime when it doesn't conflict with college that is only twice a week, out of the 14 possible shifts. Eighty five percent of the time is pretty good. Guys go on cruises, trips to casinos, boys night out and sports leagues. I tolerate and play along with covering for people too drunk to work. All I'm asking is that I be respected for pursuing a college education on my own time, out of my own pocket. When you are a minority, you are obligated to lick boots. You are expected not to have your own life and privacy outside work. It's a double standard. If you're high up in the ranks, they'll put your name in the paper- he's being educated for free at a prestigious college as part of his assignment. Another one- he gets to stay in a spot where he can make more overtime to pad his retirement, even though he's broken regulations. Am I an agitator for pursuing education? I am treated as an outsider. Should I just rack up a gambling debt, be a drunk & remain uneducated? The last time this happened, I got stuck with a modified assignment and my GPA suffered due to stress and doubled commute time making me miss a couple of classes. This time, where am I going with this? EEO? Wagner Act? Why do I have to cover for drunks, representatives that harass me off duty & people who have double standards?"
"You know what, I used to show up at job sites with my card but there was no work. I've quit over the supervisor throwing money on the floor for me to pick up and buy coffee with. I'd much rather go to school on my own too."
