Cyro Baptista

Watch the video
5.6 MB 3 min. By way of John Zorn's Filmworks albums- I found out about Cyro Baptista. I guess when you are a bandleader- you have a lot of talent to pull together incredible musicians. This video, a download from cyrobaptista.com, is just a small clip. Anyhow he does some great stuff here. My revlog for causal Friday.

He's a got a 2 dates in the NYC area one in Hoboken and I guess in NY, with John Zorn coming up in May and June. Brazilians are multi cultural like America, I'm glad I don't have to live in a Fox News Network compound.

Not sure if you check back, but some of the folks reply to comments inside comments...Dean an avid watcher replied to yours: Can't remember which video, anyhow...read on...
In response to cisc: Remember that Nathan lives in the countryside, in Kyushu. It's rare to find undeveloped spaces near Tokyo or Kawasaki, but in the outlying areas, such as where Nathan lives, there's plenty of room. The Japanese love to tell you they have about the same habitable land area as in the state of Montana, but actually there's plenty of room. Remember also that about 25% of the population of the country lives in or around Tokyo, so it's a different question there. In Tokyo, there's room usually only beside the rivers, which is where you'll find the baseball fields and the bike paths. If you watch Japanese TV dramas and there's a character who wants to get away from everything usually what they do is go to the river bank, and walk along the bike path. There are bike paths along every river bank in Tokyo, it seems. But Kurume is different -- it's really 'country-side' out there.

Yes, it was the post with paragliding. That's fantastic. I will look at your vlogroll. Instead of burning up gas, I'm going to ride my bicycle more often and travel by vlogs! The expanse you travel is wonderful, those bike paths are like metaphors of your vlogging. Thank you very much.

Brazil is a place Indians, Europeans, and Africans cultures combine. I guess Cyro Baptista likes N.O. because of similiar reasons- the Cajun, Caribbean, French, and African.
